The 2007 Superior Hardwoods Fishing trip

May 18th through the 21st, 2007

15 Marlin caught and released, 1 Sailfish, 3 Wahoo, 9 Dorado,
17 Tuna, 78 Rooster fish and 1 Pelican

No Pelicans were injured in the filming of this tournament

New tradition started

Superior hardwoods started a new tradition this year by donating a local charity. Everyone participating in the tournament brought items to donate ranging from children's clothing and toys to towels and bed linens. Superior donated $50 for each person attending this years tournament. This year's charity was the East Cape Community Urgent Care Clinic. See The Charity page for more information on this charity and to see how you can help

Coolers loaded with the days refreshments. The brown bags are the lunch. A good tip is to bring some gallon sized zip lock bags. When you first get on the boat put the brown bag in the zip lock and put the zip lock in the cooler. You don't want to decide it is lunch time and then realize that your chicken and hard boiled eggs have been sitting out in the sun for hours. The reason for the zip lock is two fold. First the ice will get the brown bag and it's contents soaked and second the cooler will also be holding bait fish.

If you have pictures from the trip please email them to me and I will add them to the site.
If you were on the trip and want any of the pictures in full resolution let me know and I will email them to you
